In cooperation with the Ortskuratorium of the Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz, the Kulturerbe-Netz.Berlin and the Landesdenkmalamt Berlin, we invite you to the spectacular ambience of the IBZ roof. Using the example of two historical sites in the Berlin metropolitan region, the IBZ in Wilmersdorf and the former Goebbels-Refugium and the later FDJ-Hochschule Bogensee (Wandlitz, district of Barnim), we will shed light on how such building ensembles can not only be preserved as monuments, but also adapted to the requirements of a changing world and thus made fit for the future. At the same time, spaces for exchange and democratic processes can be created.

The approximately four-hour event entitled “Denkmal demokratisch! - Spaces for participation, co-determination and international exchange” offers not only a guided tour of the IBZ, a small exhibition, top-class lectures and a public discussion, but also musical entertainment as well as a small snack and drinks.
