The LOTUS PROJECT has already been successfully held in Athens and Paris. In March 2025, five yoga & poetry workshops were also held in Berlin for the first time, here at the IBZ. The project is aimed at young refugees and people who work with refugees.

A film was created as part of the workshop, which will be presented to the public for the first time on Saturday, May 24. This will be followed by a discussion with the participants. The evening will be rounded off with a concert by the duo JERUSAFRIN. Walid Habash and Ittai Rosenbaum will take you on a song journey through the Middle East. Their collage of songs in six languages is about loss and longing for love and home.

The Lotus project is a cooperation between Sur Mesure and Open Dreams Berlin, Yoga Family Violet in Athens and Transplanisphère in Paris, and is funded by Erasmus+.
