Founded in Berlin, ZonaSur-Trío consists of Ana Laura Rimoldi from Argentina (flute/piano), José Vítores from Ecuador (guitars/ukulele/arrangements/composition) and René Toriello from Guatemala (percussion/guitars). The three perform classical music from Latin America, based on the folk music of the region. Enjoy elegant and original arrangements of Argentinian tangos, Cuban son as well as well-known and lesser-known songs and dances from the musicians' three countries of origin. Original compositions by trio member José Vítores will also be featured. In May 2024, the trio released its first EP with four audio tracks online.
